The matcha shortage is real. Went to Uji today, the capital of matcha, and we barely got our hands on some. Places were selling out fast, and stores without limits were being hoarded. People were buying 10+ tins; it really ruins the experience for everyone.

Went to Inari Shrine this evening. It was major spooky, it felt like we were being haunted around every bend. I do love exploring a city at night, it gives such a different feeling. A feeling of deep reflection. You see suits getting off work heading home to their families. Or students in uniforms leaving from their after school activities. It reminds me that there are more hours in a day than the ones that are lit by the sun. It feels like I haven't been much of a night owl. Or really been spending much time riding trains at night. I mean in Toronto it's different, the subway feels less safe now. Maybe I can convince my man for midnight drives. Those are my favourite, night drives going no where. Just with your thoughts.

Makes me miss my dad. Night drives going no where because I'm stressed. Falling asleep on a night drive, worries melting away by the passing lights. I could really use that right now.
